Cottage Cheese Pico De Gallo Dip| abrikliving.com
Pico de Gallo and Cottage Cheese? Who knew to put these things together. But it tastes amazing, so get your chips ready!

This dip though! Wow. I don’t eat cottage cheese on a regular basis, but mix it together with tomato, cilantro and lime, and I’m all in.
This dip is great for get togethers or family parties because it makes a lot.
But even if you’d like to make it for snacking on Sundays by yourself that’s ok too, no judgements here because I do the same thing.
So since those bag of chips are dying to be opened, let’s make the dip!
Ingredients

First, you want to get a 16 oz. tub of cottage cheese. This is the one that I used. Then pour into a large bowl. It doesn’t look like a lot, but trust me they really pack these tubs full.
Once I’ve done that, I rinse my tomatoes, onion, jalapeno, and cilantro.

I cut them up, add them to the bowl with cottage cheese, and mix it all together. Also don’t forget to remove the seeds from the jalapeno before you dice it up.

Next, you just have a few more ingredients to mix in and you’re done.
Mix It

I roll out my lime to bring out the juices because that’s what my Nana always told me to do. Then slice it, and squeeze the juice into the bowl.
Then, I add in Garlic Powder.

And Salt.

Mix it all together and your dip is done!

I like it best with potato chips, the wavy ones to be exact. But you can use what ever chips you like best.
I’ll transfer some dip to a smaller bowl to serve it on a plate with some chips.

If you make the dip but aren’t ready to eat it yet, I would recommend putting it back into the fridge. The dip is best served cold.
Let me know if you decide to try it out and what you think.
Enjoy!
